An artists' residency at a Bord na Móna peat excavation site at Ballydermot Works, Co. Kildare opened up conversations and interactions with staff and led to Monica’s ongoing, evolving arts practice investigateing tensions between making a living and ecological land use.

This exhibition explores the changing nature of land use, biofuels, restoration and renewable energy projects on the Bog of Allen and Atlantic Bog in Ireland. http://monicadebath.wixsite.com/monicadebath

A series of related workshops will also be facilitated by Monica de Bath. 

Dunamaise will host a related seminar Sites of Tension / Sites of Collaboration on Sat 19 Nov.

Exhibition runs 22 October - 27 November.
