As the county arts centre, we love being able to present work by our talented local community groups and schools. We love to inspire, support and welcome them to bring their creative ambitions to life on our stage!

Community Groups

Our stage is your stage. Join the many local groups that have captivated the entire community, won national awards and changed lives because of their creative hopes, dreams and ambitions and by making Dunamaise the home stage for their productions.

We are very fortunate and grateful to those community groups that return year after year and we extend a warm invitation to all local arts and cultural groups within our community to use our spaces to create, perform, entertain and develop projects and ideas.

Schools

Access to the arts

We offer access to unforgettable creative learning experiences connecting students with Irelands leading artists and makers. We invite you to participate in amazing events and exhibitions here and we offer outreach projects such as filmmaking, creative writing, dance and visual arts in schools.

A stage for your creative dreams

We can provide a stage and setting for the creative ambitions of local schools in our community. We welcome children of all ages – from pre-school end of year shows, to primary and secondary schools presenting plays, musicals and graduation ceremonies. We also proudly host many local stage school shows. Giving the theatre makers and creatives of tomorrow their first taste of life in the arts.

Films for Schools

We partner with IFI and Access Cinema to screen educational films for schools. Check out our programme for details of upcoming films. Or contact us about a private screening request.
