Ideal for those working in food, hospitality and facilities.

Experience a dramatised case-study 'The Third Degree'. This interactive theatre-based approach, explores safety culture in the fast-paced hospitality sector. Inspired by a real incident, this story illustrates how even the smallest action, or inaction, can have the greatest impact on workplace safety, leading to life-changing consequences for those involved.

Aims:

  • Encourage awareness of risk, highlighting the consequences of complacency
  • Highlight the importance of individual responsibility at every level of your organisation
  • Explore how each person contributes to a culture of care and compliance in your business

This event is by open invitation to business owners and managers in the hospitality sector, ideal for those working in food, hospitality and facilities.

Attendees are invited to this event as our guest, so no charge applies, however registration
in advance is required.

The theatre presentation will be followed by an opportunity to chat to the Theatre At Work team about their range of Safety Training Programmes and enjoy some light refreshments and networking.

‘’…As part of Fingleton Whites overall ongoing focus on the Health and Safety of our colleagues, we collaborated with Theatre at Work in June of 2023 to hold a Health and Safety workshop in the Dunamaise Theatre, Portlaoise.
The event was a resounding success with fantastic engagement from all which was enhanced by the venue which allowed the actors to perform on stage and to have open conversation with the audience throughout. The feedback from our colleagues was excellent. I would highly recommend both Theatre at Work and the Dunamaise...”

Theatre at Work overcomes a key challenge in culture change; it enables buy-in to the benefits of safe practices by generating understanding of why they are important and gives participants valuable insights into workplace behaviour, including their own. We challenge thinking and engage people rationally, emotionally and behaviourally so they understand, they care, and they see the part they can play.

Our team has over two decades of experience in applying the most appropriate theatre-based learning techniques to real organisational challenges in sectors like manufacturing, energy, utilities, finance, hospitality, transport and construction in Ireland, the UK, Europe and beyond.
